The Palace of Versailles Night Fountain Show is a spectacular event that takes place in the evening during the summer months, usually from June to September.

It showcases the palace’s beautiful gardens and fountains. 

The show usually starts at 8.30 pm. and ends at 9.45 pm, typically lasting around 3 hours.

An audio guide is included and available in several languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Russian.

You should bring comfortable shoes, as you will walk around the gardens and fountains during the show.

Meeting Point

You can enter the Palace Gardens via the Cour des Princes, which is accessible by the Cour d’Honneur (Court of Honor). 

Because parking takes time, it is best to arrive an hour early.

  • Please be aware that security measures are being enhanced. To avoid a long wait, you should arrive before 7.45 pm.
  • The performance is free for youngsters up to 5 years old.
  • It is not a seated show.
  • The fireworks will begin when the sun sets, depending on the day of the year, which could be between 10 and 11 pm.
  • The ticket price does not include parking costs or tickets to the Chateau de Versailles.
  • Tickets for the Night Fountains concert will be provided.
  • Note that the weather may turn cooler at night; pack some warm clothes because this is an outdoor activity.
